I am building a real-time fantasy soccer platform launching June 10th with the World Cup.
I have an open source scoring engine as the base. I need a backend engineer to adapt it to our custom rules and integrate it with our live data feed.
This is a flat-fee contract — $3,000–$4,500 for a defined deliverable. Paid in two tranches. Front-loaded work, most of it done in the first 30 days. U.S.-based, 1099.
What I am looking for: — Comfortable working inside an existing open source codebase — Node.js background — Understands event-driven architecture — Enough soccer knowledge to sanity-check scoring logic — U.S.-based with a legal entity to receive 1099 payments

I am building a real-time fantasy soccer platform launching June 10th with the World Cup. Development team is in Eastern Europe and moving fast. I need a U.S.-based QA and backend engineer on a paid contract to supervise daily execution through launch.
This is not a full-time role. It is a 70-day paid contract on 1099 — $4,000–$6,000/month depending on experience. Milestone-linked. If everything goes well there is a longer conversation after launch.
What I am looking for: — Shipped at least one consumer product end-to-end — Managed or supervised a distributed or outsourced team — Backend engineering background, mobile experience a plus — U.S.-based with a legal entity to receive 1099 payments — Available to start this week
