Product Design Intern

Role Overview

At Clinikally, we are building India’s leading science-backed skincare platform with dermatologists at the core. We are looking for a Product Design Intern who is curious, fast, and excited about solving complex problems at the intersection of healthcare and eCommerce. You won’t be working on dummy projects; you will be designing the digital journey for users seeking specialized solutions like Cleansers, Sunscreen, and Anti-Dandruff Shampoo.

What You Will Do

• End-to-End Product Design: Work on live product flows across web and app platforms, optimizing the journey from the homepage to Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and the final checkout.
• Clinical User Journeys: Design intuitive wireframes and high-fidelity screens for unique features like our AI-powered skin assessments and dermatologist consultation portals.
• Prototyping: Build clickable, high-fidelity prototypes to test ideas quickly and visualize how users interact with our Hair Growth Serum and personalized routines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, tech, and marketing teams to ensure design consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Data-Driven Iteration: Iterate fast based on user feedback, behavioral data, and conversion metrics to improve the shopping experience for our clinical catalog.
• Design System Stewardship: Help maintain and scale our design system, ensuring components and auto-layouts are clean, consistent, and developer-friendly.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Foundation: Prior experience through an internship or project work with a portfolio that demonstrates your thinking process and problem-solving skills.
• eCommerce Intuition: A solid understanding of consumer behavior and UX principles, specifically how to drive conversion in a marketplace setting.
• Figma Expertise: Advanced skills in Figma, including a mastery of auto-layout, components, and maintaining organized, scalable design files.
• Agility: A fast learner who is comfortable with constructive feedback and rapid iterations in a high-growth startup environment.
• Technical Awareness: A basic understanding of design systems and how design translates into front-end code.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to consumer apps or high-scale marketplaces.
• Familiarity with user research, usability testing, and conversion funnels.
• Experience collaborating directly with developers to ship functional designs.
